2月17日に執り行われるお祭りで、「としごひのまつり」といい、「年ーとし」とは米のことであり、
年の初めに米を始めとする五穀の豊穰を祈ります。
宮中を始め、全国の神社等で神事が斎行されています。
当社では、午前７時に、神職のみで神事を斎行しています
At the festival held on February 17, it is called “Toshigohi no Matsuri”, and “Year Toshi” means rice.
We pray for the abundance of rice and other five grains at the beginning of the year.
Shinto shrines are held at shrines nationwide, including the Imperial Palace.
At 7:00 am, we hold a Shinto ritual only by the priesthood.
